Performance Art - a tool for social action (text: BBB Johannes Deimling)
Invited by Grupa "Hajde da ..." ("Let's ..."), an organization in Belgrade, Serbia that provides different kind of meetings between young people from different countries I led the Performance Art Studies "Performance Art - a tool for social action" with 22 participants from Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia and Serbia. The workshop took place for 7 days and ended with one day of final presentations and one day for reflection and documentation. We were hosted in the Hostel Lucy a great place where we stayed alltogether over this period. the workshop took place in European Centre for Culture and Debate "Grad" in the near by the central bus station in Belgrade. After an intensive process of working and discussing we presented our final works, our own performances, at two locations in Belgrade: the first one – at the plateau in front of Beogradjanka Building (corner of Masarikova and Srpskih vladara street), the other one – in European Centre for Culture and Debate "Grad" (Brace Krsmanovic St, 4).
