BBB Johannes Deimling is working as an artist in the fields of performance art, action art, video, installation, drawing and sound. His work is internationally recognized and has been presented at numerous exhibitions and festivals all over the world. Since 1998, Deimling has devoted much of his practice to lecturing and teaching on performance art at various academic institutions. Currently he is working as associate professor for performance art and research at the NTA – Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad, Norway, lecturer for performance art at the institute for art and philosophy in Dresden, Germany and at the Estonian Art Academy, Tallinn, Estonia. BBB Johannes Deimling is the founder (2008), director and professor of PAS | Performance Art Studies.

Marcel Sparmann is a live artist born in Gera, Germany. He studied Theatre and Performance Art at the University of Hildesheim and Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art. His specific interest in social constructions, daily life actions and movement has led him to develop action-based, interactive and durational works. They mostly explore psychological and physical states or limits that embody the concepts he is dealing with. In the media of live art, public interventions and social sculptures, he works as a performer and teacher in solo and collaborative projects all over Europe.
He is the assistant director of PAS | Performance Art Studies.

Since 2011 Monika Sobczak is working for PAS | Performance Art Studies as photographer together with Matthias Pick. She studied sociology in Poland from where she developed her interests in societies and people. Her main focus is the observation on people and much more on what they are doing. With her camera she tries to catch the moments that are telling by itselfes the story of the situation where people are involved in. In various projects she documented street art and theatre events, but her main interest is documentating performance art and the process of creation. The third eye is visible in her pictures: when you don't look, she takes the picture.

Since 2008 Matthias Pick studies Media Arts at Bauhaus university in Weimar. But real hands-on experience: he learns in the big world of theatre. 2005 he began to play at Theaterhaus Jena. On this stage, he took his first steps of connecting stage and media. After passing the A levels, he began his Year of civil Service at "TheaterFABRIK Gera". There he also learned the know-how of print media and photography. The variety of projects Matthias pick is involved in lead to several important people. he met BBB Johannes Deimling in the context of the live/work- project "Utopia". Since 2010 Matthias Pick works as the photographer for PAS | Performance Art Studies.

In 2012 he graduated his cultural studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland and since then working as a freelance graphic designer. During his studies his main interest was the research on the intersections between visual art and modern literature which he tries to combine and use it for his specific graphical articulation. Since 2009 he is involved in computer graphics and -design with a particular reference to poster designs and the corporate identity of artistic projects and events. His interest and engagement in street art is influencing his graphics on a philosophical and artistic level. The clarity of computer graphics gets more vivid when he is exchanging and extending the pixel work with markers and pencils. He joined the PASteam in 2012.
