Monocerus
Ieva Savickaitė & Eielex Keiowen [LT / GR] / 20 min

The performance Monoceros is the collaboration project between two young artists, Ieva Savickaite and Eielex Keiowen. For the first time the duo met in Rehlovice, a small village of Czech Republic. Their working place for a week was a 16th century building complex. During their practice and experimentation, they decided to focus their work on the Medieval setting of the area. Through live images they created an abstract narrative of a personal story. The performance took place in a dark room of an old beer brewery where a voice still echoes: “Coming together by chance in the world of many chances staying together through almost everything balancing in circles between the lines when the curtain falls one can still hear goodbye from the dance floor”.
